Today, is my day to cook for the shelter.

A friend said, “If you are feeding the homeless, feed them. If you are telling me about it, you are feeding your ego.”

By chance, if this is true, then I say, both must be hungry.

Still, I totally disagree with this guy.

I think if you tell folks what you are doing — it may encourage others to do something too.

So – once a month – I cook for 20. I’m grateful I can, and I’m sorry I need to.
