I know it has been a while since I posted. The days are either flying by or dragging along and either way, I just don’t have the pucky to post.
However, today my friend Jerome Martinez dropped by for a short visit.
If you have ever been to our house on Bowen, you might notice some of the New Mexico flavour artwork. A lot of the work on our walls was created by Jerome. I have to say he is by far, one of my favourite artists. (And I know and love a lot of super creative people.)
Jerome is the grandson of Maria Martinez, the famous potter from the San Ildefonso Pueblo. His creativity comes straight from his heart and is expressed with tradition and joy. I am fortunate to know him.
Jerome and I had an unexpected photo shoot today. Dad tried to learned to use the iTouch as a camera and we stood on the porch longer than you would think. I won’t post the photos of dads pockets or the sidewalk, but here are two good ones.
Pucky, eh?
great pics of you 3
I remember Maria’s amazing pots very well! a friend collected them, I wish I had at least bought one, but I have them stored nicely in my memory
