I never met Chiba Kazuo, but I do know and admire Kevin Wallbridge, who wrote these words letting us know of the masters death.
The tribute touched me.
I like the idea of ringing a bell at moments of enlightenment, celebration, and eulogy.
I’m thinking I’d like to take up this practice of bell ringing. And, if I find I don’t do it in celebration of life, perhaps I can at least give fair warning at death.
