Do you see what I see? Is it blurry?

June 8th, 2012 by Jan

I’m not one to get “things” checked out very often. That is to say, I need to feel pretty uncomfortable before I go asking to be poked or prodded. (Except for massage – I run towards massage!)

About a week after I hurt my leg water skiing (20 some years ago), I crawled onto the table of my acupuncturist wondering if maybe he could “help.” He told me to get my ass to a western Doctor. Since then, I’ve dealt with western medicine only a handful of times.

I’m grateful that I’m healthy and strong. When I do get sick or something goes wrong – I tend to go to bed, grumble and suffer until I feel better.

But, things have changed – I can’t see as well as I’m used to and it bothers me.

So, today, I’m going to town to get my eyes checked. I have to say, I’m actually quite scared. I REALLY don’t like anyone poking or prodding around my eyes.

But, what is sillier than being scared, is ignoring help.

I have very strong opinions about most things in life — and perhaps the strongest is…
I reserve the right to change my mind about anything at anytime!

If you ended up with bi or tri focals, be sure to look where your feet are, especially if you are going down the stairs.
