Asking for a little help from my friends

April 2nd, 2012 by Jan

Have you bought Today’s Step yet? If not, why not? Come on…. cough up the $3.99 Pretty please, with sugar on it. I know it is “kinda expensive” for folks who “don’t buy apps,” but really? That is the excuse you are going to use? Oh and “I’m not in recovery” doesn’t fly with me either!

If you don’t have a smart phone — well, you’re closer to getting a pass, but I think as my friend, you’d probably still like to support us, so sign up for our weekly newsletter. Why not?

Okay, here’s the deal, I promise that as soon as we sell a mere 15,000 Today’s Step apps, I will quit bugging you about it. But, until then I’m going to mention Today’s Step on this blog at least once a week.

Promotion and marketing are not my strong suits, but I think Today’s Step is good. I know it will help support and inspire people in a daily practice. So, I’m calling in the friendship card. I figure if I can’t count on my friends, who the heck can I count on?

Here are 4 simple ways to help
1. Buy the app (you can do that here)
2. Use the app
3. Write a review on either the android, amazon or itunes store.
4. Talk about it with others.

And speaking of friends, big THANKS to Jim at The Natural Arts Center in Oregon, the Orchard Recovery Center, here on Bowen Island,  Monica at The Broadway Wellness Massage and Therapy in Vancouver and Dorian’s Taijiquan & Qigong Studio in Massachusetts, for writing about Today’s Step in their latest newsletters.

Oh and another thank you to Allyson. Without her, Today’s Step would just be another big fat idea floating around in my head. Believe me, I know what it’s like to get a kick in the pants and a call to action!
Ready…. Go!

Been talking it up in the Napa Valley (even got a guy to pull up your website on his laptop in Starbucks during our morning coffee stop) and on a training walk with my teammates on Saturday. One woman wrote me this morning to thank me for directing her to your website; she’s been sober for over 20 years and is fairly certain your app would serve her need for daily sustenance.

Wrote a couple of reviews on Amazon.com but couldn’t find it on Amazon.ca. Are you selling it there and if so, where? It’s so great Jan, you & Allyson are amazing!
