2/3

Tai Chi teacher, Elaine Waters once said, “If you want to be good at push hands, imagine yourself as an 80 year old, fumbling in the dark, and that you don’t feel very well.”

She said that with this scenario in mind, you are more likely to take it easy and be quite mindful of what you do.

I went outside at 5a.m. this morning. It was very dark out there. And as I seem to prefer to fumble in the dark, I didn’t turn on any lights.

I have to say, Elaine was right, I was very careful in how I moved.

Still, I know my skills leave room for improvement, as I’m feeling pretty good.

But, two out of three ain’t bad.
