Dear diary,

We are heading out to Watch Lake to join up for the annual girls weekend.

Lois, Anna, MaryLynn and I have gathered together over the years and well, we treasure the time.

There will be no internet for the next few days, so please… I’d prefer nothing too very exciting happen while we are away.

Ken is driving me up in the van and then he will go camping while the girls laugh, play tai chi and give foot rubs to each other.

Seems there is a lot going on. I’m still feeling run down with the sniffles, Kim is back in hospital and the deadline for the deal on our house sale is coming up. I’m a tad emotional and glad Ken is taking the long drive up and back with me.
